The Salem Serial Killer and then the Ben story as a serial killer were great stories. You can binge-watch every episode, so it’s VERY hard for me to catch even one episode of Days.īut at the same time, while I’m obsessed with the story of Catalina Santana and her family, who is CONSTANTLY terrorized by an evil drug lord named Diabla / Yesica Beltran, I have to wonder if that means Days isn’t doing enough to pull me back. The show began as a WILDLY popular one-season soap called “Sin Senos No Hay Paraiso” in 2008 (Without Breasts There’s NO Paradise) and Telemundo revived the series in 2016 for a whopping four season run (very unusual for telenovelas), ending in 2020. So it’s like watching an NBC show, but in Spanish. It has English subtitles, a big budget and amazing storylines.Īnd spoiler alert! It was produced by Telemundo, an NBC company. I’ve recently discovered the telenovela, “Sin Senos Si Hay Paraiso” (Without Breasts There is Paradise) on Netflix. You see, I’ve quit watching the show, but there’s an unusual reason. I’ve been reading posts about the show’s quality going downhill, and honestly don’t know whether I would agree.
